New title
Today FiFi earned her 3rd leg in Rally Advanced, and by that has earned her ROM title. She is now Ch. Wingate She's A Rainbow RA, ROM. She is resting before her steak dinner!

What's new?
What's new, well not a lot, just a few things.
FiFi is back to looking great, has lost the extra weight she gained during her false pregnancy in the fall, and is now weighing in at 66 lbs with her tuck up back. She is carrying a pack with a total of 6 lbs of rice on her regular daily walks, which she handles really well, just trots along. She started out with a small can of condensed soup on each side.
We finished a round of Advanced Rally classes, and she earned 2 legs towards her RA title in November. She'll be trying for the final leg and title next week-end. If she gets it she will have earned her ROM title as well. I will be so tickled by this, to have my very first Doberman be a ROM....Wow! Who knows if that will ever happen again. (ROM, Register of Merit, the Doberman has earned an AKC conformation championship, a qualifying working title (must have off lead performance), and have passed the Doberman Pinscher Club of America's "Working Aptitude Evaluation".)
We're also zeroing in on a stud for her breeding coming up soon -- well, she will either go into heat late Jan or late Feb, depending on which schedule she'll follow this time. Last two were at 7 months, which would mean late Feb.
After a seminar I took tonight ("BAT" - Behavior Adjustment Training-with Ahimsa Dog Training http://ahimsadogtraining.com/) I picked up a CD with "scary sounds"... LOL, no just various sounds of kids, babies, sirens, thunderstorms etc. to play for the pups to get them used to these kinds of noises.
I must say that after feeling so down from the missed breeding, I'm now finally starting to feel excited again. I'm so hoping it'll work this time.
